Alice gets sucked into other people‘s dreams & that really sucks. No sleep! It‘s nightmarish. Not to mention the bullies at school… Friendship & a school counsellor help, but Alice figures things out for herself. An imaginative standalone #graphicnovel #translation from Italy, set in Cincinnati. Gorgeous full colour art. Age 12 to adult.

MC Alice has many problems, but being of mixed ethnic heritage is not one of them. I like that. I also like little details like the bandaids on her dad‘s fingers, visual narrative not mentioned in the print text.

Cherry blossoms on the title page of this #comic are reminding me that The Tale of #Genji sits waiting for me to read today‘s chapter. I‘m procrastinating by writing Litsy posts of books that I‘ve finished and that are being returned to the library today.
