Relaxing in the yard. Sometimes it almost feels normal
pick2 books done today! One I reviewed earlier. Tagged is a delightful period romance with a marriage of convenience. Both protagonists have issues to conquering and almost all of the characters are a delight. 6 hours of reading today for #easterextravaganza @Andrew65
pickThis new-to-me author made me laugh out loud. I'll definitely be reading more of her writing! Overall this was both a witty and sweet love story with nightmare relatives and two strong romantic leads.
TW loss of a child/miscarriage
pickRomance author, Kristen Callihan, recommended this book on Twitter, and since it involved one of my favorite tropes - marriage of convenience - I thought I would give it a shot. Oh boy, am I glad I did. The hero uses rudeness and work to hide his sadness and despair and the heroine uses politeness to hide her loneliness. The banter between these two characters is amazing. I just really love grumpy heroes. ❤️ #romantsy
