This was a really fun retelling! The book takes place years after the original, when Alice is 15 and she once again follows the white rabbit back to Wonderland.

At first I didn‘t quite know if I would like this but once Alice went back to Wonderland I was hooked. I just had to keep reading to find out what happens to Alice and the fate of Wonderland.

4⭐⭐⭐⭐

BookNightOwl I had so much fun reading Ever Alice. Thank you Netgalley for providing me an Arc of this book for an honest review.
Ever Alice starts off with Alice being in a mental institution for going "Mad." This book is basically a sequel written by a different author on what happened to Alice after she got home from Wonderland.

BookNightOwl In this book we meet all the famous characters that we met in Alice in Wonderland except they all have different names. Like the the Queen of Hearts whose name is Rosamund. This book was adventures at times made me laugh a lot and just brought me back to my childhood. I highly recommend this read. 5y

**Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review**

I really enjoyed this book! It's a continuation of the story and tells what went on after Alice returned home.
Alice is now 15 and her parents are worried about her mental state because of what she says she's seen in Wonderland, so they send her to an asylum to be cured.
A little slow at the beginning, but stick with it, it gets better!

This review copy I received from Netgalley and I can‘t wait to read it. Thank you Netgalley and Reg Rogue Press for sending this ARC. I have been a huge fan of Lewis Carroll and I love Alice‘s story so much. I will post the review soon when I finished it.

It was an interesting dark take on how Alice in Wonderland is viewed.
The writing style is good and sentence structure is pleasant to read which encourages me to read on as I can become more engaged in the story.
Alice is a very likeable character so I sympathise with her which makes me feel more involved with the book. There is also quite a few surprise turn of events and how Alice deals with these seems very rationally and understandable.

tpixie @BrainyHeroine loves retellings too, I believe. Welcome to Litsy! 🥳📚🥳 5y
readinginthedark How interesting that Alice is likable in a dark retelling! She's kind of a brat in the original. 😆 5y

⭐⭐⭐⭐
Silliness, timeless characters, psychological twists, stark contrasts, meaningful questions, this novel has it. It seemed like a slow start, but the ending is strong. Did you like the movie Fight Club? Then this is a good pick for you.

Cinfhen Are you joining the BIG buddy read of Fight Club this month?? I‘m hosting #90sSpringFling ~ you should join us!! 5y
Jacquelyne @Cinfhen Ah! Thanks for the invite. I loved Fight Club the first time I saw it, but it became one of my husband's favorite movies. I don't think I could make myself sit through the book after as many times as I've endured the movie. 😂 Next month, though, I'm there. I'll be watching for it. ♥️ 5y
