My brother is Special written and illustrated by Murray Stenton is an amazing RF book. It's about a boy and his brother who has Cerebral palsy. It's a great book that teaches kids about cerebral palsy and how to love those who have it. Although it doesn't have any awards, it's an amazing book for a RA. A lesson plan revolving around this would be an author study project. The author Murray had a son with cerebral palsy. #LAE3414sp19

kkimmelman Wow what a great eye opening book! As a sibling of a child with special needs, I am always very open to these ideas to promote knowledge. Great book choice @Haleysantucci 5y

DrSpalding This looks like a great book to a company Out of My Mind by Draper. Make sure you are using the rubric. 5y

Haleysantucci The author study is a great way to utilize UDL 7.2 for this book because the author is authentic in her writings of cerebral palsy because she experienced raising a son with it. 30 is a good ESOL strategy for this lesson plan. 5y
