Odd book about a writer who decides to work on his handwriting to improve his character. The "exercises" are set up like diary entries, the first section surprisingly funny but the second half turns introspective as he battles with depression.

I realized that this weekend is a perfect time for me to participate in #24b4monday. No big plans and loads of books to choose from! And it's always fun to put together a #readathon stack. 🙂
I am also listening to The Count of Monte Cristo. I could listen to it for the entire 24 hours and STILL not be done. 😯 @TheReadingMermaid @Andrew65

First 5-⭐️ book of the year for me! A biographical novel that defies all description, this is the first book of Levrero‘s to be translated into English. He is apparently beloved in Uruguay. I recommend this to readers who enjoy digressions, philosophical questions, and interpretations of dreams. Somehow this novel about mundane life becomes completely magical! Not for readers who require a plot. I can‘t wait for future releases in English!
