Had some Kohl‘s cash so I used it on these two cookbooks. Paging through while I drink a strawberry mocha matcha. Thankfully they both look good!
In nesting mode! Madeline‘s and thick chocolate ganache. I like this book because everything is small sized. Which is great when baking for two.
New book has me daydreaming about CAKE. I‘m thinking of making one tonight as a treat during GOT.
Odette Williams has only a few cakes in this book, but there are many variations and she also includes recipes for frosting and glazes and decorations and helps find the perfect cake for any occasion. My heart warms looking through it 😍.
I love baking but rarely do thing turn out looking like the photo that inspired them - this did!
I love the mix and match approach in this book that gives you endless variations, possibilities and sizes from a handful of recipes.
Started out with the basic vanilla cake and Nana‘s icing and the crumb and taste was lovely. I‘ll definitely be baking more from this book 😋
