Sookie Stackhouse was reading one of Haines‘ mysteries, so I thought I‘d give her a try. I loved this mystery. Sarah Booth Delaney is a hoot and I wish I had a resident ghost like Jitty, whose fashion sense is, (if you‘ll pardon the pun) to die for.

In this first in the series, Sarah Booth takes on a few investigations in order to earn money to save her ancestral home, but finds herself tangled in both historical and current murders.

Almost done with my current read of Stephen Kong‘s Pet Sematary. I‘m really enjoying it, and I can‘t help but feel that my socks are the perfect accompaniment for the horror read. #TeamStoker #Scarathlon #ChillingPhotoChallenge 1 pt

This a bit more in depth and has a darker edge than your average cozy mystery. The title doesn‘t really match the story but if you like down on your luck southern belle hired as a PI to investigate the town‘s dark secrets - this is for you! #readwomen #cozymystery
