Welcome to Litsy!

This was a beautifully written story, of a young married woman, Izzy, who finds an old airforce greatcoat, in a cupboard, in the rooms where she lives, and uses it as a blanket, to keep herself warm. After putting it on, she finds herself visited by the ghost of an airforce officer. Izzy herself, is very curious, and I loved her for that. Her husband is a doctor, and very busy, so she loses herself in the life of the officer, Alec. Enchanting!

Well, that blurb caught my interest today when I was spending a gift card at my local indie. In the winter of 1952, a newly married woman is adjusting to life with a doctor husband who is seldom home. One freezing night, she finds an old RAF greatcoat in a cupboard and uses it to keep warm. Suddenly, she‘s startled by a knock at the window and sees a young pilot, wanting to come in... 😬
