pickSO GOOD!!! It gets even better on multiple readings. I even had to pause after each chapter just to let the cleverness, character fun, and plot development sink in and appreciate. I did come to this story and all of Jane Austen after falling in love with the 2005 movie, so I am still comparing it to those scenes that I see and hear in my head, which is quite faithful to the book. So many great, direct lines.
And isn‘t Jane proven right!

Y‘all, I try. I really, really try. This is at least the third attempt and I just can‘t get into it. I‘m an English teacher turned librarian. I want to love this book. I want to join in on all of the Austen love going around. I want to be able to classify people by Bennett sister personalities. I really do, so what‘s wrong with me?! 😅
So Excited!! I finally got Pride and Prejudice! I had read the book online, and wanted to buy it but all the ones that I found were to expensive, so I decided to wait a bit before buying it. Now I‘m glad I did because I went to Costco, (yes, I know know not the most ideal place to find a book. But I like to look just in case there‘s something I like) and I‘m glad I did, because I found one for only $8!!
