Best book ! Everyone should read it!
One of Naval‘s maxims listed in his chapter of Tools of Titans 🧰 Accurate and inspiring 📖
Started reading this abt 6 months ago. It's a book that I think is best if you dip into at intervals as there is alot of advice - most of which is from the distillation of the author's podcast with his interviewees.
There is alot of good stuff as well as sections that may not be applicable to you - but you will still need to go through the book to figure out if it is applicable. 😂😂 I wish it was indexed better but I understand why it isn't.
An intriguing read that is worth going through progressively and digesting each chapter (interview) so that you can make the most of it in whatever it is your soul is searching for. Have gifted it to some people already
This is exactly what I was thinking!!!!
So this book was gifted to me by a good friend, and up until that fateful day I had no clue who Tim Ferris was, but I knew I was on a self improvement journey so I said screw it! This is a big book (I was intimidated) But I am so very glad I did. The book delivers as promised. I don‘t care who you are or what you want to improve upon this book right here will have some hidden and most interesting gems for you do to so. Favorite. Book. Ever.
Well, this was a weird one. The disclaimer the author makes at the beginning is that not every interview will relate to you, and you should pick and choose which ones do. Ultimately it‘s a lot of fascinating information from enormously interesting people, but it often left me feeling overwhelmed and anxious. If you tried to do everything this book recommends you‘d lose your marbles. Proceed with caution.
I‘ll take any suggestions that will shorten my work week and make time for reading instead! 😊👍😊
I have been very happily spending my time, making my way through this treasure trove of a book. I thought I knew a lot by now but I learned so very much from these mentors‘ advice including more books to add to my TBR list. I really feel that this book has resulted in self-improvement and much inspiration. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The key is building fires where you can warm yourself as you wait for the tempest to pass. These fires-the routines, habits, relationships & coping mechanisms you build-help you to look at the rain and see fertilizer instead of a flood.

wow. I‘m so happy i picked this up. It is a long read, and I was getting a bit distracted by page 550, but the book, as a whole, is amazing. There are 8 pages at the end of the book with just book reccomendations by world class performers, and this alone is worth (to me) the price of the book. After reading it, I‘d say it‘s immediate value to me was $200, but the lifetime value... Priceless
Such a great takeaway!!! This book is going fast because I'm skipping sections that don't apply (some on workouts I'm not going to do, or psychedelics, or addiction....) and it's refreshing to get to the good stuff quicker.

My brother has this book and I may steal it! (He got me in a group gift swap and got me nothing, so it's totally fair!) I love this idea of deloading. Lots of good gems in here. 💎
Tim talks about how to get into ketosis FAST in this book. I am going to try it in the new year, I was in it before and holy shit it was amazing! Maybe his version will save me some of the misery that whole 30 is famous for.
#TBRtemptation post! Who here enjoys a self-help book from time to time? This seems like a great one! It's beautiful, both inside & out, & it doesn't seem to be one of those rah-rah Tony Robbins-type books; rather, it's one that synthesizes together the data from an extensive swath of very successful people & provides proper pattern analysis. That's the kind of material I'm interested in! (Like "The 48 Laws of Power".) #blame Litsy #blameMrBook ?
