pickListened to this as an audiobook, and while there were times Tori was annoying it was a fun good book.
pickI haven‘t had much time for reading physical books lately, but I‘ve managed to get through a few ebooks on my lunch break and I‘m shot snippets between other things.
This is book 2 of the series and I enjoyed it even more than book 1. Now that Tori knows a little about the magic world, she is eager to help the guys with a mission. Of course it doesn‘t quite go as planned and she gets up to all kinds of trouble.
pickI enjoyed the second book in the series, but i think I fizzled toward the end. I'm still interested enough to give the third a try, though I keep hoping there's a big reveal/twist of some kind. So much hinges on humans not knowing about magic and the main character finding out accidently is not setting well with me. Like, how can the magical world make that big a mistake?
