I've shown you a mug, magnet, and tote bag thingy. What? You think I'd leave #TheStrand bookless? Are you out of your mind? ??
Got the one on the left from the gotta-have table, and got the one on the right from the half-off paperback table. Yeah, I had another 20...but my debit card said, "Nuh-uh-uh, cowboy".
Next time...I'm saying yippee-ki-yay to that sucker, 'cause I'll be going in loaded with dough! You'd better come along too. ????
Last year, I bought my sister in law books about serial killers for Christmas. This year, I‘m clearly going for more emotional reads that will make her cry. I like to keep her guessing! 😂 Also, finally got a NEW copy of Wolves after a couple of mishaps, so I‘m very happy these were today‘s #bookmail. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
It's always a good sign when your nightgown matches your book. Excited to start this one!
A solid read for NYC lifers and transplants alike. Best essays include those by the editor, Roseanne Cash, Julie Klam, Adam Sternbergh, Brian Macaluso, Elizabeth Gilbert, Maris Kreizman, and Adelle Waldman. The good, the bad and the ugly, it's all here and I love it anyway.
Yep. That's it in a nutshell. From Adam Sternbergh's essay.
Because I'm coming up on 20 yrs in NYC.
