pickI appreciated the historical context of this book, and I thought it developed an interesting type of magic. I like the characters and the relationships that developed between them. However, I think everything was wrapped up a bit too quickly and neatly at the end after building real tension.

pickI was fortunate to receive an e-arc of this book and I absolutely adored it. The mixture of fantasy and magic combined with historical figures and time period in Denmark‘s history was a wonderful combo the author pulled off quite well.
