Now we have our #witchpleaseswap matches (and I have already brought three items for my match! — yes! I‘m going to be exceeding the minimum 😹😹) I thought I‘d take a leaf out of Laurie‘s @miralunasbooknook book and post a photo of my witchcraft books. Excluded is the Illustrated Herbiary by Maia Toll which I posted prior to this post. I also own a few witchy fiction books by Alice Hoffman and Louisa Morgan. #witchybooks #witchcraft #witch
laurieluna Love! 😍 I didn't think about fiction.... I have too many to count! 🙈 6y
Sophoclessweetheart @miralunasbooknook Luckily, I don‘t own much fiction at all. Other than a couple that mean a lot to me, I‘ve never really been interested in stories about witches and witchcraft. I think it‘s too real to me to really enjoy stories about it that seem far fetched and imagined. 6y
laurieluna @Sophoclessweetheart I love Kate Forsyths Witches of the Eileanan. It isn't too far fetched. Lots of herb lore and crystal magic with some fantasy and transformation thrown in. Crafting of talismans and lots of symbolism. 6y

Maewyn I feel the same way about witch fiction. I try to think of it as super powers and therefore not the same. I seem to remember reading one book where the witches behave like normal and the magic was treated more realistically. It was the beginning of a series and now I can't remember it!😳 6y
julesG @miralunasbooknook Oh, this sounds like a good book, will have to find it and stack it. 6y
