“She stood and opened the window, and a gentle Spring breeze blew in as if it had been waiting for a chance”
This is such an adorable book. I‘m not sure who‘s page on Litsy I first saw it on, but thanks to this community, I‘ve found books I would have never found. Doing a little creative journaling bc I need it. For any of you Hobonichi people out there, Tombow 026 yellow gold is the bomb for this season! Oh, and who doesn‘t love washi tape?

EvieBee I love the wash of color on your notebook. 3d
JanuarieTimewalker13 @EvieBee Thank you so much!! This is so weird, the post is not showing up on my page!!! Thank you for commenting!! (edited) 3d
JanuarieTimewalker13 Litsy is totally freaking out. I followed myself bc I thought that would help to see my post and I got kicked off as an unauthorized user. Had to sign back in. What The What??? This is a Liz Lemon moment. Lol 3d

Room on the Broom | Julia Donaldson
Pickpick

Room on the Broom is a children's fiction book published in 2001. It is about a witch that is flying around and has new passengers join her on her broom. It is a great rhyming book and sequencing book. I thought it was fun to read and i think any elementary age student would enjoy reading this.

Published in 2001, Room on the Broom is a great story to read around Halloween. This story would be great to tie into a rhyming lesson. The story has tons of different rhyming words on each page and would be great to read to young children. It is not a very long story and would keep a child's attention throughout it. This is a story about a witch who flies around and picks up many different animals on her broom.

Another fun adventure! Moth takes on bullying, white privilege (in the form of witches vs hunters with implied history of racism), and just trying to fit in while being yourself (or not), which leads her to try dangerous magics the grownups won‘t take the time to explain properly. The characters continue to be a delight, and I love the artist‘s style. #comics

I read volume 1 a while ago, and maybe should have reread it before reading book 2 because I didn‘t care at all about the characters and didn‘t remember much of what was happening. Love the art style, and the story seems fun. Sometimes it wasn‘t clear what action was occurring. Like a character lost an arm and I didn‘t realize for two pages! #Manga #Witch

2023 is right around the corner. So with that being said, I thought I would help some of you with choices for your #PLC books. In the comments will be some suggestions. I did also add books we have already read for our group.... that is for people that haven't read it yet or want to do a reread. Good Luck and here's to a wonderfully read year.

I really enjoyed this book. At times it could be a little too ya. The magic system was cool. Each witch has a designated season which they are strongest in controlling except Clara, she is an Everwitch & has power through all four seasons but she can't control it. I'm really looking forward to the #SundayBuddyRead discussion @TheBookHippie
