On NYE, we brought home our last #BookHaul of 2019 and last ever from 8th Street Books (now 8th Street Comics & Toys) 😰 At $5/bag, we ended up with 50 books for $10! A great deal but 😭 We pretty much cleared out the Andre Norton shelf and picked up a lot of other SFF. I also bought this cool Star Wars bookmark! From L to R: the back is Rey and the other side changes back & forth between Rey & Kylo Ren depending on how you hold it.

PSA for anyone in my neck of the woods: today is the last day to take advantage of the “fill a bag for $5” sale before the books are cleared out 😥😓😭

Yesterday‘s #BookHaul from the Wildlife Rehabilitation #booksale (top left) and 8th Street Books (bottom right). The book sale didn‘t have prices. Instead they accepted $ donations so I gave $2.00/book. At the bookstore, most books are now 80% off and children‘s books are 90% off! It‘s a bittersweet moment to get such a great deal at the expense of losing a favourite local source of #usedbooks. The new owner‘s focus is on comics & collectibles.

First, I have to say these aren‘t all mine. Really! 😂 My friend wanted to hit the #usedbookstores today so of course I was happy to keep her company! Check out her impressive “The Cat Who” #BookHaul! I reined myself in... My #MiniBookHaul are the books shown on the right. I picked up the Piers Anthony & Michelle West at the tagged bookstore. The other two I found at Westgate Books.

Another #BookHaul! My hubby had to go pick up some books for his cousin (The 3 Investigators, bottom left) so of course I tagged along! We picked up two Conan books while we there. Then we checked out 8th Street Books because we heard all books are 50% off because sadly, it seems the new owner wants to sell them off ☹️ Hubby got a Python book & I got a Zelazny book. Minerva had to check them out & actually started licking one of them! #UsedBooks
