As a second book in a trilogy, this one was good. It advanced the story with interesting build-ups and cliff hangers. And I'm sorry but, Threepio floundering as a nanny to twin toddlers is just comic gold 😂

Dark Apprentice is the sequel to Jedi Search. Admiral Daala is a good villain, but Kyp Durron--the Jason Todd of Star Wars--is a bit obnoxious as a hot-headed Jedi apprentice.
