A short, educational, easy read and honestly quite entertaining! The Dual gives a behind the scenes look at the lives of the men behind the famed dual. It's really amazing to see how their lives had crossed so many times before that point and how they influenced the shaping of the American government.

This looked appealing... Next to Lin-Manuel Miranda's gorgeous Hamilton tome
Although I'm aware this book was written for younger audiences, it's supposed to be aimed at teens. It read more like a middle grade text, with an off combination of very general, passive passages sprinkled with exact quotes from primary sources. However, I did learn a lot about these 2 dudes, though 98% isn't about the infamous duel, despite what the title says.

Book 11 of my #24in48 #readathon stack. A short historical depiction of the Hamilton/Burr duel written for teens.
A must for fans of the musical Hamilton. Told in the alternating viewpoints of Hamilton and Burr there is a lot of history packed into 89 pages. I did get a little bored with the battles and political fights scenes but they're not my jam. Definitely a good read.
