When a blue-collar worker from New Jersey passes prophetic messages to the FBI from a mysterious ''Mr. Zero,'' Mulder is convinced it is the same otherworldly entity that contacted the FBI through a suburban housewife in the 1940s. This similarly named ''Mr. Xero'' pointed the FBI toward many unusual cases, leading to the establishment of ''the X-Files''!

It was ok. I read this for my X in #litsyAtoZ because I couldn't find another X book I wanted to read and apparently there are no Marvel X men comics on Hoopla. Anywho, it was ok. A little too self referential. There was a "truth is out there" joke in every issue. But what did I expect, right?

I'm totally cheating for today's #AugustPhotoChallenge but only because it's been adapted to books & comics. My fave #bookishfriendship or fave friendship, period, is Mulder & Scully from the X-Files. They have such natural chemistry despite conflicting opinions & are always looking out for each other & playing pranks. I'm a total X-Phile. Also, Gillian Anderson & David Duchovny are both authors now! Plus it's David Duchovny's birthday today! 👽👫

Megabooks It's YA, but it's complex for that group. The two main characters bonded over being X-Philes. It actually kept my mom's interest, and that's hard. 8y
