Mehso-so

Im a devoted Sandra brown fan, but as the title indicates, this was a story that truly had darkness. Child pornography, incest, violence are intertwined with a mystery murderer and radio caller named Valentino. Radio host Paris Gibson alerts authorities to a trapped underage girl. Police psychologist Dean is on the case and the two know each other from their former lives in Houston, based around their best friend Jack who committed tragic suicide.

Y'all, the accuracy is real. Not only is it Monday but we're so close to the end of Daylight Savings time and I'm so ready. Something about waking up while it's still dark hurts my soul...

I can do this. I think I can, I think I can... 😥

Ashley_Nicoletto I felt the same way this morning. 😭🙌🏼 6y
IamIamIam Too funny, I noticed that too! I hate turning the lights on as soon as I get up. 😔 6y
alisiakae I don't mind dark mornings, but I hate when night creeps up at 5pm! 6y

EchoLogical @AlaMich I'm in Florida so I don't have that struggle just yet. Thank goodness. Lol 6y
EchoLogical @4thhouseontheleft I can deal with dark evenings because I'm already up but it's a struggle to get to that level of alertness when my day starts off in the dark. It doesn't help that I'm lazy, either. Lol 6y

Pickpick

Brown never disappoints! One particularly good thing with this book is she sets up a number of potential culprits to keep you guessing until the last 50ish pages.
