I started reading Jessica Hopper‘s music criticism when I was in college in Chicago, and I am delighted to report that it‘s still very relevant. I didn‘t get so much out of the faith section, but the essays on women in rock are great. The oral history of Hole‘s Live Through This was so perfect.
