I had an unexpected free day today (a commitment was cancelled) so l could dedicate a lot of time to reading. I know my numbers are spectacular, but l'm quite happy with them.

I finished The Treason of Isengard yesterday night. Great read.
Finished Blood Brothers this morning. A very peculiar story, but l enjoyed it.
Listen to the middle part of A Duty to the Dead. Really enjoying this one.

Blood Brothers | Ernst Haffner

Not too displeased with how the #24B4Monday is going. Of course l'll go nowhere near 24 hours, bug my goal is to finish this book (and l'm 2/3 done) and at least start another.

This is a very strange book, more a dossier of life in Berlin in the 1930s than a true story. Still l'm quite involved in the harsh lives of these lost boys.

Contrari to the last l did, it should be a reasonably quiet weekend so l'm hoping to read two books:

Blood Brothers by Ernst Haffner (which l'm already reading and hope to finish)

Gilgi, One of Us by Irmgard Keun
