From #1 New York Times bestselling author Robyn Carr comes the story of four friends determined to find their stride Gerri can't decide what's more devastating: learning her rock-solid marriage has big cracks, or the anger she feels as she tries to repair them. Always the anchor for friends and her children, she realizes it's time to look carefully at herself. The journey is more than revealingit's transforming. Andy has come to believe that a lasting love is out of reach. When she finds herself attracted to a man without any of the qualities that usually appeal to her, she questions everything she thought she wanted in life. Sonja's New Age pursuit of balance is shattered when her husband walks out. There's no herbal tonic or cleansing ritual that can restore her serenityor her sanity. Miraculously, it's BJ, the newcomer to Mill Valley, who steps into their circle and changes everything. The woman with dark secrets opens up to her neighbors, and together they get back on track, stronger as individuals and unfaltering as friends. Look for What We Find by Robyn Carr, a powerful story of healing, new beginnings and one woman's journey to finding the happiness she's long been missing. Order your copy today!

Between a “so-so” and a “pick”. Very much a typical woman‘s story book so I found myself toying with bailing til one of the friends had a serious mental break down, then things in their lives began to get interesting.

Loved it. Four friends that live on the same street going through relationship & fam troubles together. The message I got from it, is no matter how a person appear on the outside you never know what goes on inside, how you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, How communication is important, kids hurt too and finding love where least expect.

BarbaraTheBibliophage Sounds like a good “storal to the morey” as one of my professors used to say! 7y
Mdargusch Sounds like it was a perfect one for that challenge prompt! 7y
Cinfhen Sounds like it would also work for #beachread 😁⛱ 7y

This is the first time reading the author, and will be looking for her in the future...it was an emotional rollercoaster..three friends that have known eachother for years, living on the same block. They start going through a rough patch in their lives...then the third woman comes in half way and she has her own secrets and problems that they help her out with. Great read. I recommend this book for a great journey into each womens lives.

BeckyD I really want to read this one. 8y

"Darling when I look at the rope that belongs to Stan and me, so imperfect, so often broken and reconnected, I just assumed all those knots were there to give us something to hang on to."
