Between a “so-so” and a “pick”. Very much a typical woman‘s story book so I found myself toying with bailing til one of the friends had a serious mental break down, then things in their lives began to get interesting.

I like Robyn Carr‘s writing. I would give this one ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
So into this!
Loved it. Four friends that live on the same street going through relationship & fam troubles together. The message I got from it, is no matter how a person appear on the outside you never know what goes on inside, how you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, How communication is important, kids hurt too and finding love where least expect.

This is the first time reading the author, and will be looking for her in the future...it was an emotional rollercoaster..three friends that have known eachother for years, living on the same block. They start going through a rough patch in their lives...then the third woman comes in half way and she has her own secrets and problems that they help her out with. Great read. I recommend this book for a great journey into each womens lives.
"If the rope gets cut, you can tie it back together, but there will always be a knot in it."
"Darling when I look at the rope that belongs to Stan and me, so imperfect, so often broken and reconnected, I just assumed all those knots were there to give us something to hang on to."
