This is the second book in the series, but definitely not as enjoyable as the first. I feel the book is a touch on the short side, and because of that it felt rushed. I feel the book needed fleshing out more and for the characters to be more 3-Dimensional. Until the end there wasn‘t much about Rhona and again this just needed more. I hope there is a bit more depth to book 3.

Starting the second book in the Rhona McLeod series set in Glasgow.

This is the 2nd book in the series. An arsonist is terrorizing Edinburgh. A young homeless girl dies in an attack. Dr. Rhona Macleod is called in and meets chief fire investigator, Severino Macrae, who is hot-tempered and doesn't like to lose face. There are more attacks and the arsonist begins to be infiltrate their personal lives and their work. This was a fast-paced interesting plot and a quick read.

The second book in this intriguing series. Rhonda travels to Edinburg to help out with a case. A young homeless girl has been killed with fire. There is someone very sinister out there torturing people. I enjoyed this book. It‘s fairly short and compact, and goes straight to the point. It‘s enough for a good story and developing of Rhonda‘s character. Recommended
