Gardeners' World Vegetables for Small Gardens
Gardeners' World Vegetables for Small Gardens | Lynda Brown
4 posts | 1 read
Moving away from the traditional kitchen-garden approach with rows and rows of vegetables, this book focuses on vegetables that are particularly suited to a small garden and easy to grow, and varieties which are full of flavour or expensive to buy. The aim is not self-sufficiency, but to complement shop-bought produce with what can be grown.

This is what I‘ve been doing this weekend instead of reading! On the left is the bed that has my citrus trees(Orange, mandarin & finger lime)along with my cherry blossom trees(gorgeous in spring!), top right is my new greenhouse with a raised pine bark floor & bottom right is my new veggie garden with raised beds, willow branch screens for peas & beans to climb, gravel path & it‘s fully birdnetted to stop the bloody mynas eating my seedlings🌱

TheAromaofBooks Oh wow I'm in love with all your gardening spaces!!! We've been discussing a greenhouse for quite some time - I think next year may be the year! And I know what you mean about the birds - I have a complicated system to keep them out of my blueberries! 4y
