✨I‘ve had this ARC of #thisraginglight by #estellelaure for so long that I don‘t even remember where it came from. 😐🙄😆 I really do need to get to it one of these days! QOTD: Have you ever forgotten where you received an ARC from?✨

Sometimes people leave really random stuff on the shelves. Sometimes it's really lovely, though.
🌟I feel like I've had #thisraginglight for ages and I haven't read it yet. 😱Then again, I own too many books that I haven't read yet. In 2017 I need to read more of the ones I already own!🌟 #ya #youngadult #romance #contemporary
I had some high expectations but found it to be a little disappointing. I wanted the character to grew a little and have some resolution at the end. I felt like it could have hit deeper on some of the issues in the book. It was a quick read that had some really good moments but those moments can't carry an entire story. And I felt like it ended abruptly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Was soll der Sinn des Lebens sein, wenn ihr nicht bereit seid, für die Wahrheiten in eurem Herzen zu kämpfen und zu riskieren, dass ihr verletzt werdet?
From This Raging Light. It was a quick little read. I was kinda disappointed with the ending, mainly because I didn't know there was a part 2 coming. Other than that it's a good book.
3/5 Stars. This is a super fast read with a great message, but it was SO focused on the romance in the face of challenges that I thought mattered more. I wanted the romance to take a backseat. There were a lot of great quotes about what makes love matter.
I enjoyed this quick read + am ready for the companion ASAP!
Pros: I love the main plot about sisters Lucille + Wren fending for themselves after being abandoned by their parents. I felt it so deeply! Cons: The multiple side plots with the poetic prose occasionally felt like it was too much.
How does a person go from being like a decorative component in the house that is your life-a nice table, perhaps-to being the pipes, the foundation, the center beam without which the entire structure falls apart? How does a barely noticeable star become your very own sun?
Really did not like this book. All the characters annoyed me. There were a few really beautiful sentences, but not enough to counteract all the negatives.
