Entertaining and light, Genie is still a great heroine, but it didn't live up to the first book, ingen my opinion. Nevertheless, when nr.3 is released I will def read that as well 🙂

What a fun follow up for Genie Lo! Here, Genie and Eugenia go to a nearby college for a prospective student visit and…let‘s just say Genie finds more than she bargained for as she gets involved in an epic effort to save heaven. I so enjoyed these two books and the audio narration by Nancy Wu. If you like the fantastical mixed in with Chinese mythology and some great humor, don‘t miss these.

TBH I hate this cover. I thought book one's cover was so much more kick a$$. This makes it look like a nice and sweet romance. Like and even more asian represented To all the boys I've loved before.

It's a shame that this had a #CoverChangeMidSERIES. (hint hint #BBRC).

An amazing ending to this series. Did I stay up late to finish it? Yes. And I don‘t regret it. An amazing journey of a book and I love the growth Genie makes. I love these characters so much 😭💜
