I've just been sitting staring at this cover thinking how much I love it! Probably should actually read the book.

I wish I loved this book more, but it ended up being a soft pick for me. The concept was very intriguing, but it also felt a little draggy through the middle bits. I've been kind of sad lately, so I'm not sure if this book really was pretty melancholy, or if it just felt that way to me 😂 But look at that GORGEOUS cover! I honestly may keep it just because it's SO pretty.

TheAromaofBooks @DieAReader @PuddleJumper @julieclair @Yuki_Onna @AnnCrystal - Thank you all so much!! 💕 Grief is such a strange thing - you know that you are going to come through it and be okay (although never the same), but you still can't just... skip ahead to that part. But we are getting there a day at a time. 2w

Here are a couple of 4.25/5⭐️ romantasy books that I‘ve read recently and enjoyed more than I expected to. They are both first books (the Williams in a duology and not sure how many more for Gregovic).

That Sleepless cover though…#coverlove💛.

I‘m running out of prompts, friends! Feel free to suggest any that you‘d like to see 📚🤓
Anyway! Here is our September prompt - have fun! As always, please tag me in your posts, and let me know if you‘d like to be added or removed from my tag list. #TBRtarot

Ruthiella Reuse old prompts is my suggestion. There‘s enough variety in the books themselves! I don‘t know if I will get to it in September but the book I WAS to read for this prompt is 2mo

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Current front runner for my best nonfiction read of 2025. This is going to piss you off, but it‘s an important read, so please I urge you to pick it up. So many scandals. These companies DO NOT CARE. They just don‘t. Please also add Empire of Pain by the incredible Patrick Radden Keefe to your TBR, if you haven‘t read it yet.

Amiable Reading this right now! And I wholeheartedly second your recommendation of “Empire of Pain” —that is a fabulous, infuriating read. 2mo

This romantic fantasy was entertaining but started slowly for me. The second half of the book was definitely more engaging as secrets came to light (finally), and the action picked up.
The supernatural world of angels brought wry humor and a foreshadowing of the (sometimes dangerous, sometimes heartbreaking) skeletons in the closet for several members of the cast. Ceren did a good job of weaving various storylines together to make a cohesive and🔻

robinb entertaining whole.

All in all, I found the characters root-worthy, the plotline intriguing and the writing itself well done. Other than the pacing being a little off for me, it was an entertaining read. 4/5⭐️ #coverlove

Loved this 500+ page epic set in the world of the gods from the Divine Rivals series (which I haven‘t read…yet. But do plan to remedy 😂).
My review is a bit long-winded. 😉

Pickpick

This is my 3rd book from Terry, and they‘ve all been 5⭐️. Great characters (parent/siblings dynamics), great sense of place (Georgia), humorous with even a little magical realism thrown in…just all-around feel good read. If you enjoy contemporary Southern-set stories, I recommend her.
