I enjoyed this book It was a good read. If there was any downfall, it would be that the ending drug out a little bit. But for the most part it was a good story. It contained a bit of history, some romance, and a little bit of mystery.

Many of you are probably aware that Australia has been experiencing unprecedented bushfires and all the chaos that comes with it. A sweeping historical novel centered on a beautiful young woman who marries an older nobleman in the process of creating a chocolate house in London. She starts as a pawn in her new husband‘s feud with his former son in law and grows into a strong and intelligent woman of her own. A little one dimensional so good but not great. It‘s been crazy busy here moving the oldest to his first apartment and moving the middle back to college for her senior year. They‘re only 7 miles apart about 2 hours from us but of course they couldn‘t move in the same day so I‘ve spent a lot of time on the road this past weekend! Now settling in with this one and a dog who is happy no one else is moving out.
