It‘s not that this wasn‘t a good book, because it was. It was just a really slow read. It did have a lot of history and I like that. There were several times I wanted to put it down and say it‘s that‘s enough but I had to finish it.

Spare | Prince Harry the Duke of Sussex

I enjoyed this book. I like Harry, and I say good on him to not want to follow all those ancient customs and make his own choices. No one wants to be the Spare.

This was a beautiful story about the life of a dog, the inner workings of a family, and their love of their pet Trixie. This book ran a whole gamut of emotions. Totally recommend.

This was a good follow up to the Book Woman of Troublesome Creek, showing how her daughter honored her family by continuing in with her mothers dedication to serve the people of her community.

I really enjoyed this book, it never ceases to amaze me how people can be so cruel, due to truly, their ignorance, and yet how the oppressed can rise above this treatment and still do what‘s right regardless of the ugliness around them,

Loved this book about the dedication of a woman wanting to save her family, and how others viewed it differently due to the fact that their views on family obligation differed from hers. Ultimately Helga persevered and her story comes full circle brought to fruition by the dedication of her family to get her story told.

I just couldn‘t get into this book, it seemed to jump all over the place. It was very hard to follow for me.

Faerily It definitely was not what I was expecting when I read it. And I could see why one would not want to muddle on through to the predictable end. 1y

This book was such a good book. I started reading it because I have a cousin who was commander of a squadron of fighter jets during this time, sadly he was shot down right off the island where these POW‘s were being held, but after reading this book maybe that was actually a blessing. An amazing book about the resilience of humans, what they can go through, and still survive and ultimately forgive largely in part due to their faith. Loved it!!

This was a great book about the struggles of a woman, daughter, and family during the dust bowl and depression years, and the strength she achieved through her struggles navigating life during this era, and the legacy she was able to leave behind for her children.

I loved this book having spent a lot of my childhood years visiting my grandmother in Spokane, a lot of the places were familiar to me in this book. This book kept my interest there were some slow spots but it was very interesting learning about the corruption in the police department and the sheriffs dedication to solving this crime years later. I thought it was a great read.

SamAnne I enjoyed this one too. I live in Spokane so I especially appreciated the history. You might check out Jess Walter‘s The Cold Millions. 3y
Anre1 I love Spokane! Lots of good memories spent there growing up my grandparents lived on the south hill. I will have to check that book out too. 3y

I want to say I really liked this book, it did keep my attention up until about 2/3rds of the way through then it slowly died down and to me ended a little flat. It was interesting and different just not dynamic.

I enjoyed this book It was a good read. If there was any downfall, it would be that the ending drug out a little bit. But for the most part it was a good story. It contained a bit of history, some romance, and a little bit of mystery.

I liked this book it‘s about being an American living abroad in Italy at first going to school then meeting an Italian guy and immersing yourself into his Italian family and learning about the differences and how to adapt. It was a good read a little slow in places but nevertheless still good.

Slow moving but still enough to keep me interested to go on to book number 2. I do like the historical part and that it takes place where my ancestors resided in the past.
