It might be chilly and raining at Jellystone today but that is not going to stop me from enjoying fresh squeezed ice cold lemonade and reading on the cabin deck. The sound of the rain and thunder just add some atmosphere to the story. My son is having fun playing in the rain while I stay dry undercover. (My husband is napping…lol)

The main character is gay, a werewolf and I am 3/4 into this read and it is boring!

I haven‘t bailed yet because I just keep thinking, something must be going to happen to move this storyline along … it can‘t be 100% boring the whole way to the end. 🤷‍♀️

@Chrissyreadit and I are getting ready for the #staycationswap. Putting the feelers out there to see if there is interest again . It would be 2 books and 2 to 3 items on theme. For a summer time swap!

I listened to this one . It‘s one I definitely turned down at stop lights! It‘s a Dark romance… not as dark as I thought it would be after listening to some people talk about it but still would have a lot triggers for people , so recommend looking into that before diving in. This book roped me and was full of spice! The male narrator‘s voice is the stuff of fantasy and will live rent free in my head🔥

Once again TJ Klune has pulled me into a world and characters that I do not want leave.

My only critic was the sex scene pulled me out of the story for a minute. I typically love some spicy moments and some hot sex in my reads but this just didn‘t add anything or move the story for me this time.

My temporary house guest makes the best reading snuggle bug! I mean, I have to keep reading she is very comfortable and should not be disturbed.

This one gave me all the feels! I fell in love with the world and characters. Already pre-ordered the next one!

I really enjoyed this one. I need to look for this authors other titles.

This book was such a wonderful journey back into this world. The best way to describe it was lovely. So glad I did this one on audio as the singing just made me smile.

I was gifted a great book haul this holiday.

Once again this Author brings me all the feels. I highly enjoyed this sequel! So much was relevant to today‘s global issues about hate and non- acceptance (which yes, was their point). However , there were some moments that I had to go back and listen to again , just to sit in the phrasing. Klune makes people think, speaks out and brings issues of hate in this world center stage while still bringing joy and beauty

I can‘t even handle how beautiful these edges are!

Finished TJ Klune‘s Green Creek Series! I adored these so much. This writer gives me all the feels! I laughed , I cried and everything else in between! I am sad to say goodbye to this characters.

Finally picking up a book again after two very busy weeks. Its feels like forever since I have had time to read!

Well it‘s that time of year again! It‘s SNAP season. T -2 days until opening night. I set my book down tonight and was like see you on the other side. Most likely no reading for me until next week! You know what is nice about traveling for work with another reader! We are both tucked into bed and enjoying our books. No pressure to go out and entertain ourselves. All we need is some good take out, a comfy beds and our books!

Yardy definitely feels like he is the new boss of the house and has decided that all books should be chew toys!!! Him and I have very different opinions on that! Kittens are so naughty!!!

This was recommend by a friend. So yup, I read it ! It was decent romance with spice ! I give it a 3 and a half 🥛rating!

The ocean and all that lives in its depths is so fascinating!

This author cracks open my heart every time!! I just finished listening to this one and just spent the last 10 mins sobbing in the mall parking lot ….lol

Something about their books that just works so well in audio format! Moving on to “The lightning struck heart” now…. Let‘s see if this next one also makes me ugly cry in parking lots 😂

Just finished this cute manga. It was my 100th read for 2023 and probably the last one I will complete for the year, as the next three days we are going on a New Year‘s family mini vacation.

My son got both this book and the ramen ornament for Christmas.

My son named him Yardy because a there are 3 feet in a yard!
