I don‘t remember where I picked this one up from but when I read what it was about I am now wondering why I haven‘t read it sooner.

This story is about a little girl and her mentally disabled mother and a helpful neighbor. I loved it
A real tear jerker and I regret not reading this before I met Sarah Weeks! A mentally challenged woman raises her daughter with an agoraphobic neighbor from next door while Heidi goes on a journey to find out who she really is. The characters are so beautiful and the story is so mature yet geared towards a middle school audience. Gorgeous stuff that brought me to tears on several occasions!
So good! Much better than the movie. Great for 10-12 year olds, I would think. Great story about a young girls quest for family.
#RiotGrams--day 11--punctuation. This is one of the books in my TBR stacks.
"There are some thing in life a person just can't know. "
Do you like adventurous books about teens that have so much angst in them you cry for weeks? Haha just kidding I only cried for like 3 days. Ahem, anyway this is a tearjerker, but I love it way too much to not put it on Litsy, So here it is! Please read it it's really good
Searching for the truth of who you are and discovering from whom you came--Heidi is driven to find the answers.
"The truth is, whether you know something or not doesn't change what was."
