This was a cute, funny book! I enjoyed it until the end. It felt like the author didn‘t know how to end things and just added filler.

I didn‘t like this as much as Mr. Mercedes, but still enjoyed it as I usually do with King. Can‘t wait to read the last one in the series!
I thought I was not going to like this book before opening it. I surprised myself by enjoying it actually. I didn‘t like the ending but I loved Sheriff Bell. He really made this book.
This was a fun, fluffy read! I‘ve been in a reading rut lately and this helped get me out of it. I love lazy Sundays like this where I get to veg on the couch with a book and a cup of coffee. 🙂
This was an interesting one. The subject was abortion but it was still a typical Crichton thriller. I don‘t really agree with the main character‘s opinion on the subject, but it didn‘t take away from my enjoyment of the book.
I‘m not sure what to say about this one. I enjoyed it, but didn‘t love it. I liked the first half much more than the 2nd.
I knew it was a bad idea to get this right when it released, because now I have to wait for the next book! This plot was a little overly complex but still good and I have to be honest that my biggest interest was Robin and Strike‘s relationship stuff. Won‘t give anything away here!
Eh, this was just ok. It was really predictable and cliche. The main character was really annoying too and every two seconds kept talking about how she was treated badly because she‘s a woman. Give me a break.. 🙄
I enjoyed this one. It showed how the parents can be more crazy and obsessive about a sport or activity than the kid participating is. I felt pretty bad for the little brother.
I finally finished this chunkster! This was an interesting story about vampire/zombies that are created in a government experiment gone wrong. I felt it was a little long but still really enjoyed it!
This one was hard to put down! I wasn‘t really surprised by the ending but it was still really good!
Enjoyable, quick thriller! Will check out more of Coben‘s books.
This was ok. I really did not like the main character which didn‘t help how I felt about the book. I also thought the big reveal was kind of dumb. Might try the next one in the series at some point.
Another enjoyable Crichton book, although I don‘t like how abrupt the ending was.
This was a cute and fun read. Reid has a way of writing romance in a realistic way instead of super sappy. I liked the premise that it‘s possible to have more than one path in life.
That was not what I expected! I‘m between a pick and so-so on this one. It held my interest, but I was expecting it to have some sort of surprise or twist. I know it‘s fiction, but the plot was overly unbelievable.
When I started reading this, I wasn‘t sure i was going to like it very much. Then it picked up and I couldn‘t put it down. I love Kristin Hannah‘s writing. This made me want to see Alaska (not live there though. I couldn‘t deal with the dark and cold!)
Dan Brown‘s books are always so hard to put down! Non-stop action and interesting storylines. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a short and enjoyable read. Not scary, but well written.
What a cute and funny book! The main character was just like Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory. Loved it!
I enjoyed this one! An interesting dystopian novel about a group of people living underground in a silo. Will definitely read the rest of the series.
This book! ❤️ I could not put this down. An amazing true story about a young Italian boy who risks his life during WWII to help save Jews and spy on the Germans. So emotional and touching to read how this story affected the author.
Ahhh!!! I can‘t wait for the next book! Must know what happens next!!!
This book had you questioning everything, even after it finished! I really like Du Maurier‘s writing and I know she leaves you wondering on purpose. I just wish there was a little more resolution.
This was really different from the other Crouch books I‘ve read. It is a collection of short stories about one character who is an addict and a thief. Enjoyable read!
An enjoyable book about the battles between the Danes and the English in the 9th century. Now I can check out the show on Netflix too! Will definitely read the rest of this series at some point.
Decent haul from McKay‘s today. Got this all for $3.63 since I had trade in credit!
Eh, I would have bailed if I didn‘t need to read this for my book club. It felt like they just kept repeating the same details over and over and nothing much was ever happening. I was pretty glad when it was finished. The two twists at the end were a little surprising I guess.
And yes, that is a cat arm at the bottom of the photo. 😹
An exciting thriller! Set in 1964, this is written as if Germany had won WWII. A body is found and the police inspector on the case starts to uncover a dark secret. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I only read short stories if they are by Stephen King! Another great collection. I love how he explains where he got the story ideas at the end. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I enjoyed this one! I do think the ending drug out a little bit, but the first part really had me hooked. Will definitely read more of Ruth Ware‘s books!
1. Tagged book. I love the Pioneer Woman!
2. I don‘t think so. Hotdogs are kind of a separate category.
3. Giada de Laurentiis - it would have to be in Italy also of course.
4. Ruffle chips with cottage cheese

What a cute and fun book! Full of secret societies and code breaking, this was not what I would expect from a book about a bookstore. The best part is the cover glows in the dark!
I enjoyed this one as much as the first book! Had a hard time putting it down and did not guess the ending. Hopefully she writes more in this series!
Thanks for doing a giveaway @Eggs !
1. I would pick Fangirl and How to Find Love in a Bookshop
2. Favorite snack is popcorn!

A well written and heart breaking story about the Tennessee Children‘s Home Society in the 1930‘s and 40‘s, which is part of history that I knew nothing about. It alternated between past and present stories, which was ok but I do feel like there are a ton of books with the exact same layout and they get really predictable. Overall it was a pick for me though.
This was a great read! I have enjoyed both of Horowitz‘s books about the Sherlock Holmes characters. I liked that this one was centered around Moriarty but still had the Holmes feel to it. For some reason Lucy didn‘t want her picture taken and hid her face. 😹
A quick and enjoyable book! I guessed the ending pretty early in the book but it didn‘t take away from my enjoyment.
Eh, this was just ok. Definitely liked Bird Box better. This one didn‘t quite make sense to me....
This was an interesting read. It was about the life of Queen Elizabeth I (Henry VIII‘s mother). I didn‘t know anything about her and she had a very difficult life. This felt similar to a Phillipa Gregory book but maybe not as dramatic.
Thanks for doing this giveaway @keys_on_fire !
1. I don‘t remember what I was doing Dec 31, 1999, but I know I wasn‘t worried about Y2K.
😂
2. Fav apocalyptic book- Hunger Games
3. Fav feel good book - Bridget Jones‘s Diary

I really like David Bell‘s books. This one did not go the direction that I expected, but I guess it was a little more realistic because of that. A quick page turner!
I really enjoyed this. It‘s a story about the struggles of people in 1970‘s Appalachia and is told from the viewpoint of multiple characters. I wish the author had elaborated on the stories of some of the characters though. She left a lot unfinished in my opinion.
1. Northern Indiana, but live in Nashville, TN now.
2. Hard to choose. Something Stephen King probably.
3. Harry Potter
4. Bridget Jones‘ Diary
5. The Wonder Years
6. The Beatles
7. Pink
8. Suspense/Thriller
9. Sales rep for a musical instrument company
10. 2 cats- Penny and Lucy

I enjoyed this one. Nothing was super surprising at the end but still a page turner. Can‘t wait for more books by Hawkins!
