This was a cute, funny book! I enjoyed it until the end. It felt like the author didn‘t know how to end things and just added filler.

I didn‘t like this as much as Mr. Mercedes, but still enjoyed it as I usually do with King. Can‘t wait to read the last one in the series!

This was a fun, fluffy read! I‘ve been in a reading rut lately and this helped get me out of it. I love lazy Sundays like this where I get to veg on the couch with a book and a cup of coffee. 🙂

A Case of Need: A Novel | Michael Crichton, Jeffery Hudson

This was an interesting one. The subject was abortion but it was still a typical Crichton thriller. I don‘t really agree with the main character‘s opinion on the subject, but it didn‘t take away from my enjoyment of the book.

I thought this was a little better than the first in the series. And of course this ended with a couple of cliffhangers so I‘ll need to read the 3rd book soon!

I knew it was a bad idea to get this right when it released, because now I have to wait for the next book! This plot was a little overly complex but still good and I have to be honest that my biggest interest was Robin and Strike‘s relationship stuff. Won‘t give anything away here!

TheBookStacker I have only read Cuckoos Calling which I didn‘t like that much, but I‘m willing to give the others a shot since I hear they are better. 6y

Eh, this was just ok. It was really predictable and cliche. The main character was really annoying too and every two seconds kept talking about how she was treated badly because she‘s a woman. Give me a break.. 🙄

I enjoyed this one. It showed how the parents can be more crazy and obsessive about a sport or activity than the kid participating is. I felt pretty bad for the little brother.

This was a cute and fun read. Reid has a way of writing romance in a realistic way instead of super sappy. I liked the premise that it‘s possible to have more than one path in life.

When I started reading this, I wasn‘t sure i was going to like it very much. Then it picked up and I couldn‘t put it down. I love Kristin Hannah‘s writing. This made me want to see Alaska (not live there though. I couldn‘t deal with the dark and cold!)

A well written and heart breaking story about the Tennessee Children‘s Home Society in the 1930‘s and 40‘s, which is part of history that I knew nothing about. It alternated between past and present stories, which was ok but I do feel like there are a ton of books with the exact same layout and they get really predictable. Overall it was a pick for me though.

Pruzy The best reflection of the YK2 panic I have seen is stickers we still have on electronic equipment in the lab I work in that has a green, yellow or red circle about whether the piece of equipment is Y2K ready. I especially think it is funny seeing the stickers on old fridges or other equipment that is simply motors and gears and could no way be affected by the changing of the millennium (obviously those are green lighted) 7y
