I couldn‘t take it anymore with the annoying female protagonist and the boring male protagonist in Love Your Life by Sophie Kinsella. After bailing on that one, I started this tonight.

A bit disappointed of the reveal at the end, never been a fan of endings where criminal(s) think they are alone and confess in a public place, and all is spilled out: the crime, where the weapon is and so on, but still a very good mystery. I liked the characters a lot, they will stay with me for a while. And the setting is awesome, makes me want to visit those places.
This did not disappoint. Just as fast, warm and cozy as the first. Can't wait to read the next one!
Boy do I love a good cozy mystery and this series is becoming a favorite of mine! I love the setting of these books (Twin Cities, Minnesota) and can see myself going to the places they talk about!! I can‘t wait to dive into the next one!!
Looking back at 2017... I read 86 books in 365 days!!! My top three were small great things by Jodi piccoult, wonder by r.j Pallacio and caraval by Stephanie garner
It was a great year bookish wise!! 🤓
