I loved this book and hope that it gets made into a movie. I laughed, I cried, so, so good!

Time to start the latest in the Return to Willoughby Close series! 🎄❤️
I couldn‘t take it anymore with the annoying female protagonist and the boring male protagonist in Love Your Life by Sophie Kinsella. After bailing on that one, I started this tonight.
Downloaded this from my local library a couple of days ago. While I‘m a bit burnt out on the Shopaholic series, I still enjoy Sophie Kinsella‘s stand alone books.
Really enjoyed the first book in the Snow Globe Shop mystery series. I had a couple of things figured out early on, but that didn‘t impact how much I liked the book.
Started listening to this today and am absolutely loving it! ❤️
In chapter 10 the glass shatters in Tamlin‘s study. Did he do that or did Feyre? I know she made the shield that protected her from it, but I‘m not clear on who caused it. #acourtofmistandfury #acomaf #acotar #sarahjmaas
Another #24B4Monday Readathon is done. I finished one book, started another and managed to get 58% of it read. I had an ending total of 9 hours and 42 minutes, which is a little over an hour more than what I read last month.
Another #24B4Monday #readathon is over. I completed one book and started another. Managed a total of 8 hours and 32 minutes of reading this go around. Considering all that I had going on, I‘m happy with that number. #acourtofthornsandroses #theheiraffair
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Two hours of reading today and I finished the book. This puts me at 8 hours for the #24B4Monday #readathon . Now to decide what‘s next and hoping I can get 4 more hours of reading done.
I had to work today so reading time was limited. 2 hours and 10 minutes, for an overall total of 6 hours and 10 minutes read for the #24B4Monday #readathon
Managed 4 hours for the first day of the #24B4Monday #readathon . I‘m really enjoying this book and wouldn‘t stop if it wasn‘t for the fact that I have to work tomorrow.
It‘s time again for the #24B4Monday #Readathon. I haven‘t attempted a readathon in a while, but my schedule is better geared this time to participate and not completely fail in my efforts. Right now between chapters I‘m fitting in chores, but I‘ve managed to complete my first hour of 24, reading A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas. I‘ve been enjoying this retelling of Beauty and the Beast and hope to finish it this weekend. 🕐📚
Absolutely loved the latest book in the Return to Willoughby Close series!! Welcome Me to Willoughby Close dropped 08/18/20, and even though I preordered it, I had to finish a couple of other books first. I finally started it the night before last and had to read it every possible moment. I love it when books pull me in like that! The next book is being released in November and I have already preordered it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Low tech reading tonight. 😆 Does anyone still use book weights? I‘ve had this one for forever. Comes in handy when I‘m trying to eat and read while the ceiling fan is on blowing things around.
It held my attention from the beginning to where I didn‘t want to put it down. It had enough creep factor to it that I couldn‘t read it at night. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
I had requested this book weeks ago, had kind of forgotten about it, and then it showed up a few days ago. I‘ve put off reading it because when I think of it, it‘s night time and I don‘t read creepy books at night. 😱
I finished up the most recent book in the Shopaholic series today. It was much better than the last one even though I gave them the same number of stars. I would rate this ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫/5.
My library book that was due April 1st. Think it‘s about time to start reading it. 😆
I don‘t even know how to begin to review this book. The main character was unlikable, the writing was terrible... I thought about DNFing this book multiple times. It marginally improved in the last third of the story, but it was not enough to give the next book in the series a chance.
Since I‘m more than half way through this book, I‘m going to see it to the end. There have been several times I considered DNFing it.
A few weeks ago I won a flash giveaway by Krista Davis. Today was the first opportunity I had to pick it up from where I had it delivered. I won an ARC of her new book, The Diva Spices It Up, which is going to be released on April 28th. She included a handwritten note and some promotional bookmarks. My favorite is that she autographed it!! 😍 Now to get started on this series.
Last book in the series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 I hope to see more from this author.
During the Stay At Home mandate that is currently in place I have been working on a cross stitch project. I started listening to Christmas Shopaholic this morning. Hopefully it‘ll be better than the last book in the series. I seriously thought about not bothering with this one, but since I‘ve made it to this point, I feel like I need to follow the books to their conclusion.
Throughly enjoyed this! The premise had me hook, line and sinker. An American, whose life is going nowhere has a series of events that propels her to go to England to visit the location of a Downton Abbey-esque television show. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️‘s for a great escape!
I haven‘t read a Danielle Steel book in years. This one sounded like a fun read when I ran across it in the Libby app from the library.
Another finish! By finishing The Dog Who Knew Too Much, I‘m all caught up with the Paws & Claws Mystery series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Number 7/36 for the Goodreads challenge.
New start! This is the latest book in the Paws & Claws series and I‘m hoping that it won‘t be the last. 📚🐾
I absolutely love this series! This third installment was a fast and fun read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Started this last night. It‘s the third book in the Lonely Hearts Bookshop series. 💖
I forgot to post this last night. ⭐️⭐️/5. I‘m not going to say that this is a bad book. As I mentioned on a previous post, 66% was audiobook and I had a hard time staying focused on it. When I picked up the ebook, I enjoyed it much more. It‘s probably something that I should re-read, but that will be a long while before that happens. I have too many other books that I want to get to.
Creating a fireplace effect while reading. 😂
This was available on my library‘s Libby account, so I‘m back to Circe. I made it through 66% of the audiobook when the loan for it expired. I‘m hoping that by changing the format it will make the book more enjoyable for me. I have loved Greek mythology since I was a little girl, and I kept seeing great reviews for this book. Sadly, I was kind of underwhelmed with the audiobook, but I have a hard time staying focused on them.
Decided to pick up the next book in the #pawsandclaws series instead of alternating with the #stalkingjacktheripper series like I had been.
I‘ve been working on a cross stitch challenge, so my reading has slowed way down. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 #missionimpawsible #pawsandclaws #kristadavis #cozymystery #librarybook
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 My reading has slowed way down as I‘ve picked up my cross stitching again.
My first finish of 2020! This is the third book in the Stalking Jack The Ripper series. While I did enjoy it, I had a hard time getting into it at the beginning. I can‘t pinpoint what it was that didn‘t draw me in immediately like the first two books did. So, if you start it and struggle a bit, keep reading because it does get better. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
I‘m quite pleased with this statistic! For many years I had been in a reading funk, so I‘ve been working on getting it back into being part of my routine.
Another fun read!! Already added the next book in the series to my TBR list. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Paws & Claws series continues to be a fun read with the third book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #pawsandclaws
To dog ear a book you own is your prerogative, but please don‘t do it to one that isn‘t your property. #poorlibrarybook
