pickThis comic was excellent. You learn of Darth Vader‘s whereabouts and rise between the prequels and New Hope. You follow as he learns more about himself and even how he acquires and makes his dark side saber. I can‘t wait to read volume 2. Btw this is free to read on ComiXology Unlimited. Oh and can‘t resist adding my new puppy-I read my book while waiting for her arrival

pickI don‘t know where to start with how much I loved this graphic novel. I grew up with little Anakin before he became Darth Vader. Seeing him portrayed the way this book does makes my heart race. He‘s so complex! Vader is a lost soul - no matter how dramatic he gets. The art is amazing, too, with how the artists show the emotion behind the mask. Even so how the lightsabers crystal is corrupted to turn red is a journey. Oh, trooper Ding is a dummy
