Percy Shelley is the lesser know of the Shellys. Though he wrote some fabulous poetry. If you have not already, I hope you get a chance to read his work.

Well, this is apposite!
This poem, Shelley's "Alastor; or, The Spirit of Solitude" is an old friend of mine. I am reminding myself that Alastor is not the character's name but the ancient Greek word for an avenging spirit.
I am introverting hard today after spending yesterday in a room with six other writers. (It was a great day!)
For the bicentennial anniversary: From his poem 'The Mask of Anarchy' written as a response to the St. Peter's Field Massacre in Manchester, UK on 16th August 1819.
