Both of these books were rereads, they were fun but The Magician's Nephew seemed like it aged better. It's always nice to revisit Narnia once in a while 🦁

I‘ve been doing a read along of this but I couldn‘t stay at the 2 chapter a day pace. (Discovered an unknown #readinghabit) The first half of the book includes some of the P&P story from Mary‘s perspective and details after that gives her character more depth. It is was hard in many places because it was so sad at the beginning but like an Austen novel this heroine gets a satisfying end as well.

Got this from my childhood books. Anyone read Jacqueline in the past or now? What's your opinions? I love reading childhood books when in a slump as they cheer me up. Can't remember reading this one but I'm sure to enjoy it. Happy reading and weekend everyone 📚❤📖 #childrens #childhood #YA #fairytale #midnight #moon #time #fairy #fantasy #dreams

Midnight makes me think of midnight snacking which makes me think of Nigella Lawson & how back in the day her Food Network show ended with her making a late-night fridge raid & noshing on what she made during the episode. I fully respect that! 😁🤗 I have several of her books but this one seemed the best fit!

One of the few Koontz books that I really liked. I actually think of this book often in regards to technology and its effects on our lives. Koontz‘s sci-fi/horror scenario hits uncomfortably close to the mark in a metaphorical sense!
As seems to be the case with all Rushdie‘s novels (the ones I‘ve read anyway), this is a very long one with sections that make you think you should just give up and read something else, but then you come across a moment of brilliance and want to carry on.
