Everyone in this book needed therapy

The last 100 pages kind of we off the rails. There were parts that had little explanation, so I would flip a page back to see if I missed something. The whole character Elizabeth Monner could have been left out completely.

The book would have taken on so much more if it would have stuck to the older sister trying to protect the younger sister. Instead we get a psychological mess at the end that wasn‘t really set up well.

This is a hard book to read and put down at the same time. Definite trigger warning!! I can't say much about it without spoilers but do think it had some important points, I'll put in comments with spoiler tag. Thank you #netgalley for a review copy.

his is a young adult book however be very careful not to let anyone under the age of 14 read this book. The descriptions are very detailed and though the subject matter is real it is disturbing as well. The main character Clara has had a crush on the boy next door Griffin.
I think this information should be given out to the public so people can be aware of it but this book could give nightmares to a younger child.

Wow. I‘m not really into murder stories usually but this one really sucked me in. While I figured out one part on my own quickly, there was a turn later that really took me by surprise. I didn‘t expect that at all. While I still don‘t think this is the genre for me because it stirs my anxiety in such uncomfortable ways, I‘m still glad I stepped out of my comfort zone for this one. #netgalley #arc #whathappenedthatnight

What Happened That Night. I knew exactly what happened the night that got the ball rolling on this story right from the start. I struggle with parts of it because it really triggers some memories that put me in a panic but I decided to fight through it for this book until the end. There are some interesting turns that I didn‘t expect to come out of this so I‘m curious to see how it ends. #netgalley #arc
