You don't need much more to write an entertaining novel. 😊 Of course it is a 'light' read and after a few pages you know, what this novel looks like (if you have read Jane Austen), but sometimes a light entertaining book, is all you need. Have I already said, that books about bookshops are a nice alternative to #litsyclassics ? 🙃😊
Finally getting some reading done today. After sitting about eleven hours in the bus driving to Lake Constance (and I can't read while driving bus, I get sick) I will get started this beauty. 😊 Besides sits my little elephant, it will have an eye on me on this journey. 😉😂

pickA book after my own heart: a lovely romance set in a bookshop, peppered with references to romance authors, with subtle & not so subtle nods at genre tropes & readers notes at the end which include Regency Buck & my beloved Chalet School. It's even got a character called Verity. What's not to love?!
I got sent such a pretty ARC of this - by a publicist who'd spotted me as a Georgette Heyer fan via Twitter. I picked it up to brighten my mood and I read 100 pages on the train this morning and I didn't want to stop reading and walk to work!
