Shadow Show
Shadow Show: All-New Stories in Celebration of Ray Bradbury | Sam Weller, Mort Castle
“Ray Bradbury is without a doubt, one of this, or any century’s greatest and most imaginative writers. Shadow Show, a book of truly great stories, is the perfect tribute to America’s master storyteller.” —Stan Lee, legendary comic book writer and former president and chairman of Marvel Comics “Great new tales of imagination in the Bradbury tradition.” —Hugh Hefner, publisher and founder of Playboy Enterprises In Shadow Show, 26 acclaimed writers have come together to pay tribute to the work of the one and only Ray Bradbury with never before published stories inspired by the master. The incomparable literary artist who has given us such timeless classics as Fahrenheit 451, The Martian Chronicles, The Illustrated Man, and Dandelion Wine, is being honored by some of the most notable names in the writing world—including Neil Gaiman, Joe Hill, Audrey Niffenegger, Margaret Atwood, Alice Hoffman, Robert McCammon, and more—with new short fiction that thrills, frightens, moves, and dazzles in the great Bradbury tradition. Edited by Sam Weller and Mort Castle, with an introduction by the man, Ray Bradbury himself, Shadow Show pays well-deserved homage to one of America’s greatest, most celebrated authors.

We knew the drive-in would be packed this weekend for The Lion King so we arrived super early to set up our blankets & snacks & I got plenty of reading time in with the tagged book!

Kappadeemom So cool! I miss drive-ins. We don‘t have any near where I live. 5y
kyraleseberg @Kappadeemom This one is in Monetta, a little less than an hour from Augusta so we usually make it there a couple times every summer. We're lucky to have one relatively close and the novelty never wears off! 5y

Nice short story collection honoring Ray Bradbury. My favorite part is at the end of each story, the author writes about how Bradbury influenced them. As with any short story collection I read, I didn‘t love them all. #MountTBR

Skyrimir I have this reading gargoyle on my bookshelf too!!! 5y
NatalieR @Skyrimir Awesome!!! 😀 5y

Not all of the short stories in this collection celebrating Ray Bradbury are great. But the gems are amazing.

New Books! I got these beauties as a reward (to myself, from myself) for going to the doctors. Sometimes I need motivation to adult. Anyway I'm really excited about this Ray Bradbury tribute. I mean Alice Hoffman, Neil Gaiman and Margaret Atwood in one book - perfection! And Jesse Burton's new book!

ErickaS_Flyleafunfurled These are both so beautiful!! 8y
