This book was amazing. Brilliant pace, loved the characters. With excellent twists.
This is book one in the John Barton series.
I'm already reading the second book.

Which is @Leniverse's fault. I might not have picked this up if it wasn't for her posts.

This was a very enjoyable read. An interesting viewpoint written from the perspective of the murderer and the detective. Loved the rationale been presented fir the serial killer. A good twist towards the end of the book. Available free as an audiobook in the U.K. if you are a subscriber to Audible.
I look forward to continuing this series.

4th book finished for #JubilantJuly
Started this audiobook, the first book in the DI Barton Series. This is available free as part of the Audible Plus Catalogue if you are a subscriber with them.
Starting interestingly from the viewpoint of the killer, and also covering what led up to him killing.

Trying another new-ish read/listen format before year end. I won a free book in this format not realizing that it caters to the UK market. The book I won was not available for sale in the US market. They kindly gave a a credit so I could pick another book. I really enjoyed this app but it was clearly meant for a UK audience.
‘Fear the north wind. Because no one will hear you scream…‘
A family is gunned down but one of the children survives.

The first two books in this series are 99p now. Looks like a good series. Think I might have to buy them 😀
This is the first book in Greenwood's new DI Barton series. Set in a town outside of London, the story jumps back and forth between the view point of Detective Inspector Barton, and the Snow Killer. Even though for most of the story you know what's going to happen because you're getting the POV of the villain, it is still suspenseful and fast paced, with a surprise at the end that I didn't see coming. 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Next up- keeping with my creepy winter theme!
Reading with my oldest fur baby tonight. She‘s 11. The baby gave up his spot so she swooped in.
DI Barton is investigating the murder and things get dark….can he catch the a Snow Killer before any more deaths?
This is an incredibly gripping thriller, just when you think you know where the tale is going a gasp inducing twist keeps you guessing. Clever plot, fast paced, dark and twisty…..brilliant.
