Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports: A Maximum Ride Novel | James Patterson
13 posts | 88 read | 10 to read
In MAXIMUM RIDE: SAVING THE WORLD AND OTHER EXTREME SPORTS, the time has arrived for Max and her winged "Flock" to face their ultimate enemy and discover their original purpose: to defeat the takeover of "Re-evolution", a sinister experiment to re-engineer a select population into a scientifically superior master race...and to terminate the rest. Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman, and Angel have always worked together to defeat the forces working against them--but can they save the world when they are torn apart, living in hiding and captivity, halfway across the globe from one another?

Once again, I was able to finish this book in a day. I loved it! Such a good continuation of the series and I‘m eager to start the next one! I read that someone thought the plot was all over the place but I 100% disagree. It took a different direction in some ways than the first two and I enjoyed it! Onto The Final Warning!

Just as thrilling as the first two books, but it felt like the plot went in a million different directions. Still good though!

LibrarianRyan Book 4 is rough. Just a heads up warning. Luckily its the shortest book of the bunch. 4y

I love Max and Fang. I don‘t like Fangs name. But I like him. Great series and definitely would recommend☺️☺️

Wow! This was a great third installment into the world of Maximum Ride. I have to say I didn‘t think I was going to like this series and now I am kind of hooked. I am debating if I want to continue on with the series or if I am good stopping at 3. I have heard mixed reviews about the rest and this book did have a good ending if I wanted to stop there. I would highly recommend this series, it is so good!

I happened upon this during tonight's bookstore trip--perfect fit for today's photo challenge! #savetheworld #anditsaugust

My oldest niece was really into the Maximum Ride books a few years ago... I've never read any, though. Has anyone else read these? What did you think?

monkeygirlsmama This is a series I haven't read yet by him, but it's on my TBR for eventually. 7y
tpixie I read the 1st one only. I read the adult book that spawned the series, although he totally changed it up. But snap, that was so long ago, I can't even remember THAT book's name!! I love his Alex Cross books. 7y
ten-thousandth-myriadic-year The Maximum Ride series is reeeeally good. The characters are well-written, there's LOADS of character development, fighting, fluff, etc. I definitely recommend it. 5y
