Not an official holiday break, it‘s the midwinter carnival for juniors, seniors & alumni an hour & a half away at a ski resort. Liz has the winter blues, feeling uncharacteristically jealous of Jessica & her careless attitude. Jess steals (& wins) a trivia contest, strands her sister & isn‘t holding up her end of the chores. Todd‘s coming & she‘s nervous for Jeffrey to meet her 1st love. After listening to Jess, she ends up worse off than before!

Good ol‘ SVH hijinks! This one focuses more on Elizabeth‘s POV, and I usually don‘t like those because when she is having a crisis, it always seems like she‘s out of character. I realize she can‘t be perfect all the time, but something always just feels off. Having said that, the last half of the book is fairly exciting, although I wish Kate William would have never felt compelled to write lyrics to the songs by The Droid‘s!🧀 city😂

Time for some more easy reading that will fulfill several reading challenge goals. Saving the heavier reads for tomorrow when it‘s supposed to be raining.

In this super edition, we have basically an entire book revolving around Liz's bad mood and inability to talk out her problems with her boyfriend Jeffrey, leading to one misunderstanding after another. She is fed up with Jessica's thoughtlessness (finally!) but totally handles it the wrong way. On a side note, the twins are totally rocking these 1980s skiing outfits. ⛷🎿#sweetvalley #SVH #twins #nostalgia

TorieStorieS Hahahaha!! I agree on boring old Todd! But I must admit, I had forgotten how much Liz and Jeffrey fight! Since he arrived, they get into it at least once in every book! But I guess that‘s more accurate teen drama than the Todd/Liz Saga! Todd really is at his most annoying in the college books! I was so bummed that he winds up with Jessica in the Confidential book!! In the love diaries, I think she secretly dated both Todd & Jeffrey! 3d

JenlovesJT47 @TorieStorieS she did! I didn‘t mind Jess and Todd ending up together so much, it makes a weird sort of sense to me. I just like Jeffrey‘s personality better, but my fave of Liz‘s love interests is Connor from Senior Year. But I like bad boys, what can I say 😬 3d
