Deck the Halls: A Canadian Christmas Carol | Helaine Becker
7 posts | 3 read
Deck the Halls: A Canadian Christmas Carol Join Porcupine and his familiar Canadian character friends as they decorate for Christmas! That means loons donning skates, polar bears cozy in slippers and Sled Dogs chasing around the room! All the while, the beavers are busy building a secret surprise . . . what could it be? This hilarious, tongue-in-cheek re-setting of the popular Christmas carol will have the whole family singing this holiday season!

These three books offer a decidedly Canadian twist to three familiar Christmas Carols! Who doesn‘t want a “Porcupine in a Pine Tree”? These had my 4 & 6 year old nieces laughing and making up their own versions of the songs! Great additions to the holiday reads! #wintergames. #thefilthyanimals.

Come-read-with-me @Clwojick They are so much fun. The song lyrics are funny and the illustrations are a perfect fit. Every year I look for another addition to the series. Five stars for each of them. 5y
