X Isle
X Isle | Michael Alan Nelson, Andrew Cosby
2 posts | 2 read
A team of researchers drift on the ocean, lost, in their quest for an enigmatic island that's never been explored. Washing on its shores, they find a dense, terrifying jungle populated with animal and plant life that has evolved along a completely different path. What secret does this isle hold? Why are the life forms there so dangerous - and so alien? In the tradition of Alien and the recent horror-hit The Descent! Featuring art from Greg Scott (Gotham Central, Sword of Dracula).

A marine science crew is looking into a strange animal that has washed up on the beach. They board a research vessel and go looking for more. Well they find it, but they also find themselves in a bad situation when their ship sinks and they end up on a remote island. Nothing is familiar, not even the animals. They are out of place, or maybe out of time, and for sure, finding alien habitats.

LibrarianRyan BTW this was my #lastbook for 2019. I completed it about 5 minutes before the ball dropped. 5y
MidnightBookGirl Way to go! I swear, if authors want a best seller, they just need to start their books with the harder to get letters of the AtoZ challenge! 5y
