I did not care for this. A post-college slacker makes a financial agreement with her brother's friend to be his submissive sex partner and, surprise, feelings happen. A woman wrote this, but it reads like a man wrote it who got all his info on what women like from internet videos. No kink-shaming here, but I found myself mumbling "nope, not how that works" too many times for both physical and emotional action. The ending is a trite ⬇️

This one didn‘t peak my interest...I found even with the prologue and the first chapter, the characters weren‘t engaging enough. Maybe just not ready to read this yet and need to come back to it...

Third book I picked up today and stuck with. The others were by favorite authors but just wasn't hitting my reading mood.

I should know better by now than to read books with heavy BDSM plots when I've had an off day. That said, I thought this book was masterfully written and I adored the ending. AND I'm so excited for book two. 👏🏼 #romantsy
