I forgot that I meant to swap TCP out of my last set since it really belonged better here, but tbh it fits both. It was disturbing and terribly heartbreaking in parts, but I think that‘s also what makes it so memorable. Demon seed just had me like ‘ew, what!?‘ but in a good, can‘t-put-it-down sort of way (it reminded me a lot of the movie Splice in this aspect). And Flowers in the Attic, well I think we all know why this one‘s here 😳 #3books
So heres another book I have finished for my October #Screamathon I'm quite enjoying all these horror books and putting a good dent in my to be read pile.

I flew through this book. Loved it!! The futuristic aspect it has for the publishing in 1973 was unreal. 4/5 stars
A woman is trapped inside her home by an insidious #ArtificialIntelligence that has breached her security system. #aprilbookshowers @RealLifeReading
This one is a #twofer for #aprilbookshowers
I ❤️ Dean Koontz; more specifically, the older work of Dean Koontz.
One of my favs will always be Demon Seed.

I guess you could say I liked this book. I have 4 different copies #demonseed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️#multiplecopies
??? A quick, enjoyable read even if a bit lacking on the substance. Told from the perspective of a sociopathic artificial intelligence. Koontz did pull off the creeper vibe pretty well, that's for sure. There's one goal and one goal only, and that's to further the "entity's" own desires.
