I picked this up at a charity shop, on a whim, because I liked the cover and it is one of the best things I have read this summer! A twisty family drama that is gorgeously written. Highly recommend 🌟

I enjoyed this historical crime fiction, set in different timelines. Families with their secrets will eventually come out, quite suspenseful.
This is a wonderful story. It‘s beautifully written and the story and secrets unfold deliciously. I can‘t say any more without spoilers. Highly recommend.
#weeklyforecast @Cinfhen Started this today and with a bank holiday tomorrow I‘m hoping to get most read before back to work Tuesday. Promising so far
I enjoyed this one. The switching of narratives and time periods kept me interested, even if I did guess the ending.
It was a lovely and endearing little book, perfectly paired with a glass of wine..

“When the Harrington family discovers an abandoned baby seek in the woods, they decide to keep her a secret and raise her as their own. But within days a body is found in the grounds of their house and their perfect new family implodes. Years later, Sylvie, seeking answers to nagging questions about her life, is drawn into the wild, beautiful woods where nothing is quite what it seems”.
I found this one a bit difficult as first but I persevered and it paid off because it ended up being a really lovely, heart-warming read! Loved that towards the end a lot of chapters were ended on a cliffhanger. Didn‘t love it but liked it... a lot!
Absolutely loved this. Full of twists and turns that kept me guessing throughout.

Past catches up to the present in this multigenerational family saga. Told from multiple points of view which jumps from present to past. If listening to the audiobook, there is only one narrator so take a few chapters to get used too. If you like Kate Morton's books you will like this
Well day 3 of #NutsInMay readathon and I'm at just over ten hours and one book finished.

This was a really interesting story. It does take some following at times as it jumps around quite a bit. The story is told in the past and the present by Rita, Hera and Sylvie so we get a wide range of emotion and story. The story itself is clever with some brilliant twists. I figured out some but not all of them. The ending is well written and I like the strength Rita showed by the end of the story especially her final decisions. #Netgalley 4*
