Mehso-so

I had to cut half the cover of this book off to get my dogs reaction because it perfectly sums up this book. So I‘m not going to lie, this book is pretty gruesome. I definitely like the horror genre but this book was just a little too far out there for me. It was almost borderline fantasy with all the creatures in the black farm. The story was decent and what made it better was the underlying messages in it. If disgusted easily do not read.

Bec_lectic @dabbe her face nailed it!! 😂 2d
Bec_lectic @Soscha no more like severe human suffering but with some very descriptive and disgusting details 🤢 Some cannibalism and vomiting into another persons mouth are a few examples. 2d

Not for the faint-hearted. Although packed with itense gore and extreme violence, there is a riveting story underneath, filled with anxiety inducing suspense and fantastic world building. Albeit a world you would never want to end up in.

Lesliereadsalot Read up on this book and wow does it look scary. Will try it based on your rec! 13mo
AlysonCB @Lesliereadsalot - be warned it has some extreme themes!! 😂 Good luck! 13mo

5 Stars. This one is a bit gritty/gory BUT I loved it. It‘s a story about a couple named Nick and Jess and they decide to commit suicide after Jess has a miscarriage. Once they are dead, they arrive in a world, named the Black Farm, where all the suicides go. Nick sets out to find Jess and finds terror, torture and other ungodly things. While the theme of the books is pretty dark, I loved the story. This book isn‘t for everyone so be aware.
