Not for the faint-hearted. Although packed with itense gore and extreme violence, there is a riveting story underneath, filled with anxiety inducing suspense and fantastic world building. Albeit a world you would never want to end up in.

In this episode, I review the splatterpunk cult classic, "The Black Farm" by Elias Witherow.

5 Stars. This one is a bit gritty/gory BUT I loved it. It‘s a story about a couple named Nick and Jess and they decide to commit suicide after Jess has a miscarriage. Once they are dead, they arrive in a world, named the Black Farm, where all the suicides go. Nick sets out to find Jess and finds terror, torture and other ungodly things. While the theme of the books is pretty dark, I loved the story. This book isn‘t for everyone so be aware.
